I have five kids, on dissabilty can't afford a car. Got a household of seven and my income is just 698 a month. Kids have to walk to school which is just about a mile, I'm glad the winter is almost over, my babies is freezin. Plus it would help me lot cause I do handy work, got a lot of clients but can't. Get there. Sometimes they will c,ome pick me up but always on he way back home its,never, srtaight home. When you get finished with work you want to go home, not all over,the,town. Hello, I need a dependable car for me to transport my child to and from the after school programs. I'm new to this city and don't know anyone that will help me with my child. It's very hard for me to get around. I'm sure this is the problem for many, many people. I know I'm not alone with this problem. I need a transport to be able to attend my class and go to the meetings. The painful thing is I'm unemployed because I'm still finishing my studies I walk 20km a day to get to my classes, it is painful becaus I'm always tired and turn to grasp very little infotmation or the work done is class. I don't see the importance to go to class just for my presence, I wish someone can be my savior. I was raised in an unprevalidge family, they just made plans for me to be studying to earn a living some day. Please help! Would really love to hear from someone soon.

I to need a car for my wife to drive on her daily commute to work which is 48 miles one way. We have a nice car now but, it is showing signs of trouble with it's transmission and the mileage is so high the trade-in value would be less than other cars of it class (economy). I can't afford to make any payments for a car. I just need one for my wife to be safe in and one that gets good gas mileage. I would be happy to have one that "advertises" a product for someone willing to give us a car.She also, is going to school full time, at the University of Phoenix, so a car that is reliable and good on gas is what she needs.Does anyone in the southeastern United States know of someone willing to part with a car to help our situation. I ask this because if our car quits working we will be down to one income and that is not enough for us to live on even with assistance from the government. Hello my name is Harry and my situation is going from bad to worse. I was attending University of North Texas and ended up on probation. I wasn't able to get financial aid for Spring 2011, so I took a short term loan ($4,000) which I had to pay back before I could take classes in Fall 2011. My plan to pay it off was to work overtime at work and get money but I was let go from my job at Target in Denton because of some miscommunication. So in the end, I didn't come anywhere close to making that money, so now I'm not able to take classes this semester because I couldn't come up with the money. So I tried to transfer to TWU or NCTC but one requirement they had was that I had to bring transcripts from my previous schools and UNT said they couldn't give out my transcript until I paid the $4,000. So i'm out of school b/c of that. Luckily I got another job which pays $8/hr which is quite a distance to walk without a car; and just when things couldn't get any worse, they did this past week. My mom was coming home from work in Dallas. She was almost home (Frisco) when she hit a curb and the airbags deployed. They deployed & the acid that ignites the airbags got her chin & neck. She is really weak and is going to be out of work for sometime. The problem with that is the fact that she is the breadwinner of the house. My dad has had jobs here and there but nothing really to support the family. So with that said, I'm in need to get a car to commute from Denton to Frisco at least 3-5 times a week to help out my parents in any way I can. As I'm typing this, I am in the process of getting a 2nd job to try to help out my parents in some way. So I am in desperate need for a car. I just need something that can get me from place to place. I don't need anything fancy.
P.S: You might wonder how I have been getting to my previous jobs....luckily I have good friends that have been helping me out but I don't feel comfortable of being a burden to them anymore.

We need help. Our Bravada went belly up yesterday, when we need it the most. My husband has multiple Doctors appointments and will soon be having to go back and for to Seattle Washington for his lung transplant. Afterwards, he'll be going to and from for the rest of his life. We have no way to buy another one. He's on Social Security and I'm a house cleaner. Our budget is not enough. Please help. Soon school will start and I've already missed one work day. What can I do?
Ok i know i might receive some answers that i might not find pleasing and that's perfectly fine... but i live in Irving a county of Dallas and my A/C doesn't work. This is a long shot but considering my circumstances I would like for someone to fix it for free or pay. These are my circumstances, i'm going off to college at UNT for the fall and i have to pay for important things like housing, food, clothes, soap, etc... and on top of that I am the 2nd oldest out of 5 children total to that live in a 3 bed room apartment and have to help my family out with bills and such. I do have a job and i work 30 to 40 hours a week. My job is located at north park mall. So basically i need some help with my A/C it needs a new compressor and its a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer. Can someone find it in there heart to help me out some how or maybe point me in the direction to someone that can help please. It is HOT in Dallas.

in response to Inspiration...I don't know if this is for real or not. I am sure you understand my feelings. I do not know if you are the same person that will do resumes for free or not. If you are, i just want to say what a blessing you are to people that need their resumes to be a cut above the rest. I am disabled but would like to find a job part-time. I had no problem getting my disability, no lawyers, no long wait time. I believe that the examiners looked over my medical records and saw that i had been trying to help myself for over 15 years. I was diagnosed over 17years ago but i kept working. I miss being around people, sometime, and even though i don't have a lot of money i always pull through. My dream was always to be a, Secretary or Administrative Assistant. I am blessed that i became both of those things, and was an excellent worker until 2008. Most people have a goal of becoming something but, end up in a different career. I am blessed and happy that i became what i dreamed of. May God bless you in all that you do.

I live 10 miles north of Pittsburgh, PA. It is very humiliating to have to be on a limited income & receive SSDI, but the only job that I can find now is a 10-hr per week part-time caretaker for the elderly. Thank you for being honest ... you are just as valuable and deserving as anyone else, and I believe you will find the help you need through your honesty and kindness .. thank you for being you and sharing your story. I am sorry you're struggling ... I can relate to your struggle and it's no fun having to deal with chronic health problems and disability - no matter ones age. It is a battle everyday .. there are good days and bad days and I know how it often feels as though we have less control and power as a result of the given health condition and it's limitations .. its simply not as easy as getting some great job and working a bunch and being able to finance whatever you desire ... we work hard to function and survive in our bodies without a doubt .. and that's something others simply don't and can't get/understand unless they too experience a similar situation. I don't know how to go about finding you a vehicle, although one of the member's here has a lot on her pages about just that. Her name is Starshine .. she's not been online for over a month, but she still has a wealth of info and resources listed. Hello~My name is Belle, I am in dire need of a vehicle. I was a home maker, my husband was a truck driver who just recently had a stroke, he will no longer be able to drive, for the stroke has left him paralized on his right side, he no longer has the mobility to drive, he was going on his 28 th year, trucking is all he has ever done and this has left him in a deep depression, he feels he can no longer support his family and somehow this is leaving him to feel as though he is a lesser man (which could be no further from the truth). We have 8 sons, 4 still at home, 2 in college, and 2 out on their own. I now must take over the roll of bread winner, our problem is tho that last year my vehicle was in the Nashville flood, at that time we were living in Nashville. One month later Scott (my husband) had a heart attack (June 2010) During his recovery we depleted our savings, which left us falling behind constantly, we could no longer afford the payment on our Ford pick up, and in October 2010 she was repoed, if it wasn't for him being able to bring his truck home we probably never would have made it. But on Easter he had a run to Chicago and one of our sons (Joey) wanted to go with him, (and thank the Lord he did) they left at 6 pm and by 8 pm I received the call saying he had suffered a stroke, he was in the hospital nearly a week, running all kind of tests. At release I was informed of all the different types of theropy he would need, from mobility to speech, and all very costly. We filed the workmans comp, and received word today that they are not going to pay anything, it is all ours, and to top it off, we don't have the $5000.00 deductable needed for his insurance at work to help with costs, I dropped off his prescriptions and received the text from Wal*Mart saying his last four were ready for pick up, at $586.74, which we do not have either. I can get a job, no problem, except that I don't have transportation to & fro, and the only jobs available are 13+ miles from where we live. I feel like we are falling and fast, if I don't get a job and soon, we will lose our utilities, then eventually our home..... If anyone knows of a charity that doesn't take months to go thru....PLEASE respond and let me know. My Prayers are many, and God Bless to all of you. ~Belle~

I just ran across this site and feel I really do need a car. I'm in a messed up relationship and have an 10 yr old son named Joshua. My car just went out a few days ago and my son's dad dosen't want to help me get another one. The thing is my 25 yr old daughter also lives with us and she and I don't have a very good relationship, but she and my son's dad do. I'm in school and need a vehicle for me and my son to get around.
My daughter recently lost her by letting someone else drive it. The situation now is my son's dad is willing to drive her around and get her a rental as well as looking to buy her another car. He mocked me and told to fin for myself. It's very hurtful and I don't know how to handle things anymore. I cry, pray, get say and angry all at the same time because I don't know what's going on with him and my daughter. That's another messed up story. I truly feel I need a car because I can get away from this house that my son's dad wants to keep me trapped in. He loves the idea that I have no job nor a car. I'm going to school to help better myself and help my son have a better life but it's hard when I'm trapped at his house with no transportation. Please help me, I will be very greatful! Thanks.
